UNLV grad to teach at new school for chronically ill
At Sunrise Children's Hospital, the classroom will provide full-time instruction to in-patient students and tutoring services to out-patient students. "Medical science has done a wonderful job in helping [children during treatment]," said Jeff Gordon, president of the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, at a June 19 press conference. "But during that time they are missing out on something very important: their education." Overcoming IPhone Fear
I've needed at least three tutoring sessions on how to operate the darn thing. So...now that I've disclosed I'm an IPod illiterate, is it any wonder I haven't opened the box to activate the IPhone?
A friend with an IPhone urged me to make the switch. My business partner made the whole thing into a joke--kidding me about my IPhone archive. I can't tell you how many times "activate my IPhone" appeared on my to-do list for the week. But finally my teenager got tired of my complaints about the calls I was missing because the ringer on my current cell phone is broken. So she informed me today was IPhone day!
